KNOTTED  LINES -  The Book

     Knotted Lines – The Mazes of John Whiting contains over a dozen spectacular solvable mazes. This large book (11 ½" x 16"), is printed entirely on heavy glossy paper in black and white. Comments by the artist on his work and influences are included, with five illustrations by Gerry Monaghan drawn from ancient art and artifacts containing interlaced pathways.

    Monaghan and Whiting designed and published the book and presented an exhibition of Whiting’s original drawings at the Watkins Glen Public Library. This project was made possible in part with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts Decentralization Program administered locally by the ARTS of the Southern Finger Lakes.
