Welcome to artist John Whiting's website.

       

Whiting's oil paintings express the many moods of the Finger Lakes region of New York State in all seasons. 

Knotted Lines is a collection of stunning graphics that are also mazes. With influences from ancient Celtic and Moorish art, and from modern mathematics, John Whiting’s exploration of the art of interlaced pathways is a meditation on pattern and perception.
